Actress

Meaghan McCarthy is an actress from the Twin Cities, hailing from a small town with big aspirations and many dreams. She is trained in the Meisner  Technique as a two year graduate of the Gately/Poole Acting Studio of Chicago -whose alumni includes Kurt Sutter (Sons of Anarchy), James Gandolfini (Sopranos). Though having more experience in film, she too loves exploring the stage and has had the privilege of acting in a modern day silent film shot on 35mm film. 

Having been involved in 4-H throughout her youth, Meaghan was exposed to a variety of experiences ranging from arts and crafts to playing softball to gardening as well as presenting demonstrations. She received her firearm safety certificate at age 12 and is familiar with handling firearms having some field hunting experience, target practice with pistols and long guns as well as a compound bow. She has also operated snowmobiles and Four-Wheeler ATV's (automatic) from a young age mucking around in the snow and mud and having a liking for playing hard and getting dirty.  Her first performance in front of an audience was in 8th grade English, performing an assigned scene from A Mid Summer Nights Dream, Whilst playing the role of PUCK and feeling herself disappear in the character, she fell into the performance, which is when she truly knew that acting is her calling.

Presently, Meaghan is preparing for two upcoming film projects. A short film  of fantasy and the extra-terrestrial and the feature film KID FROM CRIME ALLEY, of which she's studying BATMAN comics for the history of a vigilante character.
